Sadly we recognise there may be times where the service you receive is not to our regular high standard and that you will want to complain. We provide complaint packs at reception which includes our policy & a complaints form. This can also be emailed to you upon request by emailing SMC.admin@nhs.net.

 

Complaints can also be submitted via this website using the Practice Feedback tab on the left hand side of the page. Please be aware that complaints made via this method are likely to be seen by members of the adminstration staff before the Practice Manager.

 

If you wish to speak to the Practice Manager regarding a complaint you can do so by calling the surgery on 0161 736 1166. Please be aware that the Practice Manager is not always available to speak to by phone.

 

If this is the case you will need to leave your name, DOB, contact details and a brief summary of what the complaint is about. If you prefer not to give a brief summary please let the staff know "it's private" and no further questions will be asked. The Practice Manager will be passed your details at the next available opportunity and will contact you back on the same day where possible.

 

Please note we do encourage complaints to be submitted in writing for audit trail purposes.
